Every Spring The Food Depot encourages home gardeners to plant an extra row in their backyard gardens and donate the produce to the food bank for distribution to people in need. Once the produce is harvested, caring gardeners can drop their donations off at The Food Depot, 1222 Siler Road in Santa Fe. Or, if they are outside of Santa Fe County, please contact Viola Lujan at The Food Depot at 505-471-1633, Ext. 11, for the name of an emergency food pantry or soup kitchen in their community.
