The Food Depot is the food bank for Northern New Mexico, providing food to those in need through more than 145 nonprofit agencies such as food pantries, shelters, youth programs and senior centers.

$120 sponsors a child for a school year

Food 4 Kids provides backpacks of nutritious child-friendly food to students known by school personnel to be hungry, to tide the children over at home in the evenings and on weekends when their families may be unable to provide meals.

$175 sponsors a person for a year

The Food Depot’s Mobile Food Pantry provides nutritious food distributed by a network of community volunteers to residents of isolated rural communities where there are high rates of hunger and poverty.

$50 provides diapers for a baby for a year

The Diaper Depot provides a supplemental supply of diapers to economically stressed families so they can protect their babies from the serious health risks created by not having an adequate supply of diapers.

$195 feeds a child for the summer

The Lunch Box Express serves healthy lunches to children ages one to eighteen at neighborhood locations during the summer as a replacement for the free and reduced-price lunches many count on during the school year.

$10 feeds the family pet for a year

Food 4 Pets helps low-income families who already face difficult decisions every day—whether to pay for food or heat or rent or medical bills—take care of their pets, who are after all a part of the family too.
