We’re here to help
The Food Depot wants to help you and your family. As the food bank of northern New Mexico, we can help you find food resources in your area, apply for SNAP (formerly Food Stamps), and offer other types of food assistance and information. But we also do much more. As part of CONNECT, a network of helping organizations linking people to services and resources in our community, we may be able to connect you to assistance for:
– Housing and rent
– Counseling and emotional support
– Addictions and mental health
– Relationship violence
– And more
There are places to get help in Santa Fe, but it can be hard to know where to go, or to take that first step. We want to help. We promise to listen with compassion, protect your confidentiality, and find you the help we can.

This page will be updated as needed. Last updated, July 29, 2020.
Important update: The Food Depot is required to conduct an annual inventory of the food on hand. This typically occurs at the end of June, but we have received permission to push it back to the beginning of July. Because of the volume of food on hand, the multiple storage locations, the inventory process will take two weeks. During that time food deliveries to agencies will be suspended and food distributions will be reduced.
For July The Food Depot is announcing the following drive-thru food distributions in the Santa Fe area which are open to the public:
• Thursdays: August 13, August 27, September 3 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., (*note the time change) The Food Depot parking lot, 1222 A Siler Rd.
• Saturdays: August 8, August 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Santa Fe Place (enter from Zafarano Road)
• There will not be a distribution in July at the Ohkay Owingeh Hotel and Casino Parking Lot in Española.
